Il-Forn Birzebbuga

Il-Forn in Birżebbuġa is one of southern Malta's most authentic community bakeries — a traditional stone-oven operation that has been feeding the local village and surrounding area with freshly baked Maltese bread, pastizzi, qassatat, and seasonal pastries for as long as anyone can remember. The baked goods here are exceptional in their honesty and quality — crisp, flaky pastizzi filled with perfectly seasoned ricotta or tender mushy peas, and crusty Maltese bread that smells and tastes the way bread is supposed to.
